The New Norwegian Government Proposes Record Spending in 2014

In its revised 2014 budget, the new government in Norway proposes to spend NOK 143.3 billion of Norway's wealth fund to plug the mainland deficit hole - the highest amount ever budgeted by any Norwegian government and 23.1% higher than the actual figure for 2013.

In line with previous governments, this government too will be a big spender by the looks of things and is off to a good start to become the biggest spender yet.
